Dilution Ratios
Always dilute essential oils in a carrier oil before applying to skin. A 2โ3% dilution (10โ15 drops per 30ml carrier) is recommended for adults. For children, elderly or sensitive skin, use 1% or less.
Diffusing Your Oils
Add 3โ10 drops of essential oil to your diffuser with water. Diffuse for 30โ60 minutes at a time with breaks in between. Ensure the room is ventilated and keep pets away from the diffusion area.
Topical Application
Apply diluted oils to pulse points, the soles of feet, or areas of concern. Avoid eyes, ears, mucous membranes and broken skin. Always perform a patch test 24 hours before first use.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store oils in dark glass bottles away from heat, light and humidity. Most oils last 2โ3 years when stored correctly. Citrus oils have a shorter shelf life of 1โ2 years.
Safety Precautions
Keep oils away from children and pets. Never ingest essential oils unless under professional guidance. Avoid during pregnancy without professional advice. Some oils are photosensitive โ avoid sun exposure after topical use.

Water temperature: Use water just off the boil (90โ95ยฐC) for most herbal teas. Fully boiling water can destroy delicate beneficial compounds.
Steeping time: Most herbal teas steep for 5โ10 minutes. Roots and bark may need 15โ20 minutes. Cover while steeping to retain volatile oils.
Dosage: 1โ2 teaspoons of dried herb per cup. For medicinal purposes, consult a qualified herbalist for guidance on frequency and dose.
